A month had passed and Shada wondered if the Doctor's threat was even still around. She was improving, she herself could tell that just by the way she was feeling most days. The nightmares had stopped and she wasn't hearing the faraway sounds like she had been She was finally... for the most part happy. Liir was silent.. which bothered her at first and then made her wonder if Liir was ever there in the first place, something that didn't seem so crazy, mostly because of where she was currently. She could have left then, had she felt that she was up to it. But a week later, she was taken from her room and placed in another one. It looked pretty much the same as the first, except the bed had stronger ties and the overall room had more equipment in it. More tests...great.
When the orderlies lifted her and placed her on the bed; she fought them the whole time but to no avail, they strapped her down tightly, too tightly and that was when she knew. She knew Koffman was in on this. He hadn't forgotten about their encounter when she had first arrived! In fact, judging by the way the orderlies looked at her, she was right in assuming the worst.
Doctor Koffman came in a few moments later, a look of smugness on his face.
"Hello again, Miss De Embrell. Ready for your next set of tests?"
"What tests?"
"Oh, these are special tests. We are going to try out some new drugs on you and you can't do a thing about it." No, she really couldn't, either. Without blood, she was weaker than she had ever been, and she couldn't even escape her bonds. She had been surviving off of raw meat for the time she had spent here, and that did little but make things worse. She hissed at him, her eyes black and her fangs extended. "Now, now. Watch your temper.. or don't, I could care less. You are going to endure the tests like a good little girl."
"You said your sister was a monster, but you were wrong. You are the monster. And I hope you burn in Hell!" She spat at him, writhing on the table, trying to break her bonds.
"Relax. If you don't, you will make it worse and that could end up a bad thing." He smiled at her, and she wanted nothing more than to kill him. Her bonds weren't going to break, and she was doing nothing but adding to the growing fatigue her body was already feeling. She growled at him, her eyes narrowed into slits.
"You will regret this day... I will see to that."
"I doubt it, since you are so weak you can barely threaten me anymore. Now hold still." He jerked her head to the side, pointing her face away from him, so there was no way she could bite him. She felt the cold steel of the needle enter her flesh, which made her breath hitch in her throat. What the Hell? He released her head when he was done, and she instantly turned her head to look at him, hatred burning in her eyes. "What do you feel?" Oh, like she was going to tell him. She stared him down, without blinking once, her fangs digging her lower lip. He gave her a few more injections, each worse than the last, until she was almost crying with the pain. But the last one.. the last one was the worst. She had felt nothing at first, her body relaxing in her bonds.
And then it struck. Her body felt like it was on fire, the burning sensation spreading from the injection site to her entire body in seconds flat. She began to twitch again, her eyes coldly on Koffman as it did. She wanted to scream, but she would not give him the satisfaction of hearing her do so. She clamped her jaw shut, but her body kept twitching, of its own accord. He gave her a smirk, thinking he had won... well, she would show him. As soon as she was strong enough, she was going to show him what she could do.
Her eyes were fluctuating back and forth between black and a lifeless silver now, but she could feel her heartbeat against the back of her throat, she couldn't before, and she knew it had to have been the effects of whatever it was he had injected her with. She gave him a cold smile, showing him that he had done nothing to harm her; her body had stopped twitching and she was feeling a bit stronger than before. She lifted her arms, stretching the leather and chains that had held her down until they snapped. As soon as they did, she was a blur, snapping the bonds that held her legs. Within seconds she stood before him, her hospital gown barely able to confine her ample, heaving breasts within.
"You thought you had won, didn't you, Dr. Koffman? You didn't know I would react this way, did you? And guess what? I've won." Her fangs were stark against the caramel color of her skin. "And I am going to show you what it feels like to die. You tempted Fate when you took me on." She wrapped her hands around his neck and yanked him toward her. "You know us monsters are more clever than you weak Mortals give us credit for. That shot did nothing by strengthen me." She whispered. "Get ready for death." She slid her hands down his shoulders to his neck and grinned. "Are you ready to embrace it?" She bit him, hard, her fangs piercing deeper than she had known to go, paralyzing his vocal cords when he would have called out for the orderlies to come and take her away.
Oh! The gloriously warm blood slid down her throat so easily! She had missed feeding regularly, and she had missed the feeling of it. Her eyes rolled back, glassy with her blood lust, and a moan escaped her mouth. He was not a particularly tasty feed, but he was blood, and at this point, she couldn't be picky.
She drained him empty and dropped him to the floor, licking the excess from her mouth. Oh, glorious blood...she was blinded still by the lust, so she sat down on the bed for a second, so it would pass. When it did, she got up and started for the door. Before she could touch the doorknob, the door burst open and almost hit her, had it not been for her reflexes, it would have knocked her to the ground. Instead, she sidestepped it and met the orderlies with a grin.
"Oh, I've been a bad girl... you boys should punish me!" She laughed. Liir was alert then.
"Holy shit, girl, you learn fast, don't you?" Shada snickered at her.
"Liir, my dear, you have no idea." The two men stared at her, in clear shock that she had gotten free and killed the doctor. She grinned at them. "Problem one solved. Now, I want to go back to my room, if you will be so kind as to take me there." Oh, she could have left if she wanted to, but instead she decided to wait for the perfect moment and free some of the other Immortals who had come here for some reason or another. She knew they didn't belong here either, since they were having the same, if not worse of a time here. She was not going to sit by and let them suffer like she had. No more would they have to endure tests.
